Join us in enjoying the musical talents of two multi-instrumentalists: Don and Cindy.
They have been playing together for about 25 years. It was through music that they met, playing in a jazz quartet through college, and have appeared in many diverse settings since. Whether playing guitar, bass, piano, banjo, mandolin, drum set, vibraphone, or marimba, this duo has made a lifetime of music together! The Acoustic Vibe that will be used brings their primary instruments – Cindy on mallet percussion, and Don on classical guitar – to play a varied program for you. There are solos from each, and combined selections as well. You will be treated for music from classic to jazz, from sacred arrangements to a medley of selections from their favorite musicals. There really should be something for everyone to enjoy with this concert! In addition to performing, Cindy is active as a music therapist and occupational therapist, and Don is an adjunct college music instructor and runs the Music-In-Print website. They have two daughters who continue in the family tradition of music making as well!
