Heeding God’s Call to End Gun Violence – Join Us on November 4th at 4:00 p.m.

The Phoenixville Area Clergy Association is joining with interfaith communities and Heeding God’s Call to End Gun Violence for a Phoenixville Area Gun Violence Awareness Day Event on Sun., Nov. 4th. All are welcome to come and make their voices heard for public safety.

  • 4:00 p.m.: Gather at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church, 121 Church Street. There will be a short interfaith worship and call to action.
  • 4:30 p.m.: Witness Walk from St Peter’s Episcopal Church with stops at other churches en-route to the First United Methodist Church, 865 Main Street (on left side of PA-29 going south after passing Phoenixville Hospital). Bring your own sign to carry your message about gun violence.
  • 5:00 p.m.: Remembrance Service at the “Memorial to the Lost” T-shirt display on the front lawn of the First United Methodist Church.
  • 5:30 p.m.: Advocacy Activities – write your state legislator your views on recently introduced legislation. There will also be Community fellowship and refreshments.

Parking: There is limited parking on the grounds of St Peter’s, but street parking nearby, as well as on Starr Street. There is ample parking at and near the First United Methodist Church.
