The Rev. Canon Nancy James Deming has been ordained to the priesthood for fifteen years, having begun her priestly work as Vicar for ten years, at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church. St. Gabriel’s is a diocesan mission parish located on Roosevelt Boulevard. in the lower part of northeast Philadelphia. From there, Canon Nancy joined the staff of Interim Bishop Clifton Daniels, III as Canon for Congregational Care and Development. Most recently Canon Nancy completed an Interim Rector assignment with Christ Church, Media. PA. Canon Nancy brings a depth of successful parish leadership experience and a passion for tangible ministry.
