St. Peter’s New Rector begins December 1st [Advent 1]

It is with great joy that our Vestry has announced that Fr. Samuel Kirabi Ndungu has been called as the 19th Rector of Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church, Phoenixville.  We are very excited to welcome Father Sam and his wife Sylvia to our community! Father Sam is known as a big hearted leader who has served for the last four years as the Assistant Rector at The African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas in Philadelphia.  In Father Sam’s words, I strive not to be a “by-stander” as I minister to others.  I feel a strong inclination toward pastoral care.  It is at the heart of my ministry.  I bring my deep faith in God, in God’s love and God’s presence with us, and I journey with people in their pain.
