Join us this Sunday (December 19) immediately following the final Advent and Youth service to prepare the church for Christmas! We’ll hang greenery, put up candles, put out the crèche, and prepare the church for the season of Christmas. No experience necessary; Once the decorating is complete we will enjoy Pizza together.
Congregational caroling event will be this Friday, December 10. We will meet at St. Margaret’s Hall at 6pm. From there we will walk to various locations on Bridge and sing carols for about an hour. At the St Peter’s annual parish meeting on 2/28/2021, Father Sam won one of the door prizes, a $50 Lowe’s gift card. He immediately offered it to The Pantry, and on April 18th, The Pantry leadership awarded the gift card to Mike O’Rourke, who with his wife, Rosemarie, has done so much for The Pantry.
Led by Jolie Chylack and Dave Brennfleck, St Peter’s enjoyed another summer and autumn harvest of kale, chard, collard greens, tomatoes, squash and more. Vestry senior warden Diane Hope and Altar Guild leader Sue Meadows were amongst the many parishioners to share in this abundance.
Lifetime parishioner Retta Sparano moved to Ohio in autumn 2020, but is currently physically unwell. As a lifetime choir member, she knows the entire song repertoire well, and requested we sing ‘Abide With Me’. Singers are Marty Bloem, Karen Martz, Emma Martz, Ron Druckenmiller, Leo Guen, John Magee.
