Happy and blessed Sunday my friends in Christ.
Today marks the 10th month that we have been away from each other and from our beloved Church, many congregations this weekend are also celebrating the life and ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. one of our 20th century prophets and leader.
Normally we would meet at St. Peters to worship together but for now I pray that our homes have continued to be sanctuaries and together we pray for ourselves, our community and our country. May God continue to heal us, heal our land and our nation.
The great Physician now is near, The sympathizing Jesus;
He speaks the drooping heart to cheer, Oh! hear the voice of Jesus.
Sweetest note in seraph song, Sweetest name on mortal tongue;
Sweetest carol ever sung, Jesus, blessed Jesus.
Continue to strengthen your home altars by praying together as a family and sharing the word of God. This practice will produce strong individuals.
Please find livestream link to our 2nd Sunday after Epiphany service on our website starting at 9:15am with Prelude and service at 9:30am here: https://saintpeterschurch.net/
