Grace and Peace to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well” 3 John 1: 2
Earlier today i sent out an email to all concerning our response and plans going forward, In that email i had included this line… ” This is rapidly changing and this email might be redundant within a few hours” Well it looks like its that time.
Our Bishop has strongly advised and encouraged us to cancel services. We will therefore cancel our services for tomorrow and we will communicate on our future plans.
Let us Pray;
“During this times Lord, give us peace that passes all understanding. Though we don’t know what will happen with all that troubles us this day, help us to trust you. Help us to remember that you are not surprised. Help us to remember that nothing will happen today that takes you off guard. You are not asleep or too busy but are actively involved in all the cares of our lives. Help us to wait and watch for your glory. Help us to obey and do the right thing in the moment, knowing you are there in all the moments to come.
Most of all, help us to remember Jesus, the One who cried out in the garden on the night he was betrayed, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will” (Mark 13:46). We thank you that “for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2). Even now, he intercedes for us—what a marvelous truth!
I pray all this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
I love you all and am praying for you all.
Fr. Sam.
