Good and blessed morning to you and your loved ones,
The Fourth Sunday of Easter is also known as “Good Shepherd Sunday”. Because the Gospel describes this image of God. In an age such as ours, in which empathy and humility can be seen as weaknesses, recognizing Christ is not going to be any easier for us than it was for the disciples. We go to the Gospels to recognize Christ. But he is in those around us, and he dwells in us, too. He is in those whom he has appointed to be shepherds of his flock. And we as followers of Christ are also called to be shepherds in our own way. So it is well to reflect on this question: when and where have we recognized the presence of Christ today? And an accompanying question: what shall be our reaction?
Do you know your Shepherd’s voice Are you listening with your heart Have you stopped to hear Him calling Felt the peace His words impart As the world shouts its orders That are easiest to hear Won’t you draw away and listen To your Shepherd.
I look forward to seeing you at our 4th Sunday of Easter Morning service and for those that will not be able to join us in person, you are welcome to join our Livestreamed service on our website starting at 9:30am follow this link: http://
