The Vestry met in our July meeting to discuss the status of re-opening the Church. Thank you to all parishioners who responded to the survey questions regarding the re-opening. It was helpful information for the Vestry to have your opinions. While we all would welcome a return to church services, our concern for the health and safety of our parishioners requires that we not consider a return before September 1st. This delay in re-opening is also at the direction of the Bishop for churches in our Dioceses. Unfortunately, local COVID cases in Chester and Montgomery Counties have been increasing. The Vestry feels this is a significant indicator that services should not resume at this time. We will have to continue to monitor and re-evaluate all relevant information on the virus situation to make an appropriate decision on a date for re-entry. The Vestry feels strongly that we must always error on the side of caution for our parishioners and families.
