St. John’s Lutheran Church, 355 St. John’s Circle, Phoenixville, presents the thirtieth annual “St. John’s Choir & Friends Concert” Sunday, May 7, at 7:00 PM, after a three-year break due to COVID concerns.
45 singers from 20 area churches will join together in singing “Praise to the Lord.” Familiar favorite Psalm settings with audience participation are highlighted by a new set of three Psalm settings entitled Hallelu Yah by contemporary American composer Dan Forrest, as well as pieces by Hovhaness, Franck, Handel and others.
The church is located at 355 St. John’s Circle, Phoenixville, PA, between the Phoenixville High School and the Y. There is no charge but a freewill offering will be taken.
