Grace and Peace to you and yours.
Today we celebrate the Feast day of St. Francis of Assisi.
Francis of Assisi may not have written the words of the prayer attributed to him, but he certainly lived them.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned ,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
St. Francis of Assisi.
Continue to strengthen your home altars by praying together as a family and sharing the word of God. This practice will produce strong individuals.
